We are currently looking for families to host international students who will be attending Academy of Notre Dame this upcoming fall which starts from September 5th 2013. Host families receive a stipend ($1,050 each month) to cover the student’s food, lodging, and transportation (afterschool activities). 2013 ST. DOT’S CHALLENGE The 2013 St. Dot’s Challenge will be held on Saturday, June 1st. In addition to the 5k race, we’ll also have a 1-mile family walk, a kid’s 1-mile race (“Kid’s K”), and the Dot’s Dash (400m) for those that are in K to 2nd grade. Our race expo will be held Friday evening, May 31st from 5 to 8 PM in St Dot's gym, where you'll be able to pick up your race packet, register, and check out the vendor tables for health & fitness tips and a few goodies. This year we’ll again have the disposable electronic bib chip timing and the high quality tech shirts for the first 300 registered 5k runners.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT MERCY FITZGERALD HOSPITAL The Spiritual Care Department at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital is hoping and praying for a few volunteers to minister to our patients. We need people to visit our patients, and to offer prayer and the Holy Eucharist from Monday through Friday during the day. We also need people to support our patients waiting for tests, and to minister to our patients who are having chemotherapy mornings from Monday through Friday. The commitment is from two to four hours per week. We also need someone on weekends to bring the Holy Eucharist to our patients. This commitment is about two hours, but may exceed that if the volunteer is willing to spend some time with the patients and their families. We are also looking for people who might like to make rosaries to distribute to our patients. We will provide the materials if you are interested and have a little spare time. During this wonderful season of giving as we prepare to celebrate Christmas and as we think about New Year’s resolutions, we may want to offer some time to serve our God in a different way. NEW BIBLE STUDY COURSE STARTING BOOK OF REVELATION In this intriguing look at one of the most talked about books in scripture, Jeff Cavins explores revelation to demonstrate how the Kingdom established by Christ in His church is intimately connected with the Kingdom of Heaven, especially through the celebration of the Mass.
