Cardinal O’Hara presents CURTAINS The Cardinal O’Hara Theater Department will proudly present its fall production of “Curtains” on Friday and Saturday, December 6 & 7 at 8 PM and Sunday, December 1, at 2 PM. ST. DOROTHY BREAKFAST WITH SANTA Saint Dorothy's 2013 Breakfast with Santa - December 14, 2013 Tickets are now on sale! Reservation forms can be found in the back of the church. Completed forms with payment can be submitted through school, or can be dropped off at the rectory in an envelope labeled "Breakfast with Santa". Seating is limited and reservations are first come first serve. This year a poster contest will be held during the event. All poster submissions are due on December 11 to the school gym or rectory and small prizes will be awarded to the winners. RETROUVAILLE MARRIAGE PROGRAM The Retrouvaille Marriage Program offers help for struggling marriages. It gives you the chance to rediscover yourself and your spouse. AID FOR FRIENDS IN DELAWARE COUNTY Aid for Friends has a need for a Volunteer Evaluator/Coordinator. This volunteer visits client/friends in their homes before they are put onto our free frozen dinner meal program. The Evaluator/Coordinator evaluate homebound persons to see it they qualify for our program. You will be trained, provide written guidelines, and always be available by phone to answer any questions or address any issues that may arise. We will also recruit volunteers in your area to cook and deliver meals. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT MERCY FITZGERALD HOSPITAL The Spiritual Care Department at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital is hoping and praying for a few volunteers to minister to our patients. We need people to visit our patients, and to offer prayer and the Holy Eucharist from Monday through Friday during the day. We also need people to support our patients waiting for tests, and to minister to our patients who are having chemotherapy mornings from Monday through Friday. The commitment is from two to four hours per week. We also need someone on weekends to bring the Holy Eucharist to our patients. This commitment is about two hours, but may exceed that if the volunteer is willing to spend some time with the patients and their families. We are also looking for people who might like to make rosaries to distribute to our patients. We will provide the materials if you are interested and have a little spare time. During this wonderful season of giving as we prepare to celebrate Christmas and as we think about New Year’s resolutions, we may want to offer some time to serve our God in a different way. Divine Providence Village Volunteers Divine Providence Village, Springfield, is home to women with developmental disabilities. We are looking for individuals or families who could volunteer to spend some time with one of the Ladies. Some our Ladies are unable to go home or have families that can not visit them. JOHN’S HOSPICE CASSEROLES We remind you that we are still collecting casseroles for St. John’s Hospice in Philadelphia.
