The objective of St. Dorothy’s Athletic Program is to provide parish students with the opportunity to participate in organized, athletic competition based on Christian principles of fair play and sportsmanship. Through CYO sports, the students are brought together in an atmosphere that fosters the recognition of their strengths and limitations, the development of friendship and teamwork, and the ability to deal graciously with both victory and defeat.
St. Dorothy’s Athletic Program is a member of Region 25 of the Archdiocesan Youth Ministry program.

St. Dorothy Hoops For Hope 2012
February 24th - 5 PM to Midnight
February 25th - 8 AM to Midnight
February 26th - 12:45 PM until we’re done
This year the first $5000 will go to help defray tuition costs of St. Dorothy families affected by cancer, with the remainder to benefit the American Cancer Society
- Basketball games around the clock featuring stars of yesterday, today, and tomorrow
- Hearts for Hope recognizing our loved ones who have experienced cancer
- Nurse Ministry Table with information regarding cancer prevention, treatment, and resources
- ConKerr Cancer Sewing Arena with a sewing machine that will be available for use during the weekend to make pillowcases for children with cancer
- Alex’s Lemonade Stand sponsored by St. Dorothy’s Brownie Troop
- Funchion’s Famous Food Court with Nightly Specials
